Who can use Iniciotax-AI right now?
Iniciotax-AI currently supports resident individuals filing ITR-1 (Sahaj) with income from salary (and simple interest income). Other ITR forms and taxpayer types are on our roadmap.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Iniciotax-AI works inside WhatsApp, so you use a chat app you already have. A supporting website (this site) explains how it works.
Which documents do I need?
Usually your Form 16. Depending on your situation you may also share your AIS, Form 26AS, interest certificates, or investment proofs. Our OCR reads them and you confirm the details.
Is Iniciotax-AI a government website?
No. Iniciotax-AI is a private tax-filing assistant operated by Iniciospace Management Private Limited. It is not the Income Tax Department or any government body.
How is my data protected?
We use your information to prepare your return and handle it in line with our Privacy Policy and Data Retention Policy. We do not sell your personal data. See our Security page and Trust Center for details.
