Who we are

Information we collect

Identity & contact: name, mobile number, email, PAN, and date of birth as required to prepare your return.
Tax documents: Form 16 and other documents you share (e.g. AIS, Form 26AS, interest certificates, investment proofs), and data extracted from them.
Filing data: income, deduction, and bank details you provide, and the status of your filing.
Usage data: limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use your information

To prepare, review, and file your ITR-1 based on the details you confirm.
To provide support and respond to your requests.
To operate, secure, and improve the service.
To meet legal and regulatory obligations.

Legal basis & consent

We process your information based on your consent and to perform the service you request, and as permitted or required by applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You may withdraw consent, subject to legal and contractual limits.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide the service (for example, with service providers who process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards) or where required by law. Any submission to tax authorities is done to file your return at your direction.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. See our Security page. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond to issues responsibly.

Children

The service is intended for adults filing their own returns and is not directed at children.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised “last updated” date.
